Women who have fathers that were in jail.



Obviously, some women are drawn to the jailbird b/c it reminds her of their father figure. Maybe they're sub-consciously trying to make things "right," or maybe male prisoners are all what they know. We learn from our family, don't we?





Next, they may be doing it for the fame and the danger of being married to a prisoner. There is a girl who's getting married to a serial killer.

I have no clue. I'm sure that there is more than one reason. My uncle got married while in prison for life. His wife was from England. I believe that she married him to get citizenship here in the U.S.



The only other reason I can think of that would cause a woman to do this would be that they're into the whole "bad boy" thing and they take it to a whole other level. They believe that he's misunderstood...blay blah blah.



No matter what the reason, these women are extremely stupid.

Obviously someone would get something from the marriage - probably emotional. Why do family members stick by someone in prison for life? Why do people stay married even after the spouse gets life? Committment, love, trust...

Some men do it, too. I know that a few of the former female Manson family members have been married while in jail for life.

Commitment issues, still want to be married, can be without having to clean up after husband only seen for sex?

because some people see marriage as a spiritual and personal ritual where you officially join, the biggest declaration you can get.

People that do things like this should be psychologically evaluated.

Sometimes even the most hardened feminist needs a shoulder to cry on!

I agree that it's pretty silly, but love makes you do dumb things sometimes.
