I would try to infuence him to do the right thing! I would offer a hand though to the babys mother and see my grandchild! He may not want to be in this childs life but I would make it my business to!

Well I couldn't force him, but I'd try to encourage him to do so. I would likely disapprove of how he treats the child and the mother of his child and I'd more than likely be pissed with him, but I would move beyond that and form a relationship with the mother of the child and the child and force my son into being a loner until he either grew up or left!

hell yeah and i would hound him about it too. He did the deed now he has to take care of it. YOu don;t go get a girl pregnant and then decide You don;t want t have anything to do with the kid. if you didn't want the kid they should have used a condom they are not that expensive. It is my sons resposibilty. I would make him own up for it. In my case I will do my best to raise my son to this. His father bailed on him with me and he has experienced this. His father came back years later out of guilt. But his family was still in the picture.

I would atleast try to get the mother of the child to let me see my grandbaby and I would try to talk some sense into my son. I would never want to miss out on my grandchilds life and i only hope my boys never would do something like that but you just never know.
