I guess no one realizes that we are made to have children in our twenties. I had my first when I was almost 23 years old. I think our bodies are programed to have this instinct because of history. Hundreds or even thousands of years ago, we did not live as long. We were lucky if we lived to be 40! It is a natural instinct in us to reproduce to continue the population. That is why older women have a harder time getting pregnant and have a higher risk of having birth defects in the their babies. Our eggs age. We were not meant to live as long as we do. Medical science is wonderfull!

Many women go through this. I know one woman who never wants children. SHe is now in her 30s so, I think it is safe to say she never will. However, I do think most women eventually feel the need to have kids. I felt the same way since i was in high school, but waited until I was 27. It's good that you are able to look at the big picture, you know? You will be happy you got to experience college life and have fun first and then you can enjoy motherhood. Just remember, your life will completely change so, do enjoy being a carefree college kid because one a baby comes along you will never have that carefree feeling again. Don't get me wrong, I love having a baby, but everything is different.

sometimes the maternal instinct never hits women and they go on to live their lives happy with out children. Some women want children at a really young age. and sometimes women who dont want kids, get pregnant and their maternal instinct doesnt kick in until they feel the baby move or after the baby is born.



I always told my self I was never going to have kids until i was 85 LOL. just as a jokingly thing cause I never thought I would have children. I got pregnant at 19. 66 years ahead of time lol.. but it was the best thing that happened to me.



You will have kids when you are ready.. just focus on what your doing in your life now so that when you decide to have kids u will have established your life so that you can give them a great start to life and throughout their lives.

Nothing wrong with that! Some women don't have that instinct kick in until your age, some don't have it kick in until they are 40, it's not crazy either way. You'll be ready someday, and you'll know when that is. You're obviously smart enough to want to finish school and get a job, just trust your gut and you'll know when you're ready =)

Its very normal, its human natures way of making sure we reproduce.. hormones are released and you crave babies Another funny thing is the baby has a certain scent that is no longer produced at the age of 3 and once the baby stops releasing the scent (which you can not distinguish by sniffing the baby you once again start wanting another baby... i fought the urge an waited for my boy to turn 5

i have the same problem...im 22 and it seems like everything i watch or read someone is pregnant...i think about what i would name them and things like that...my boyfriend says i have baby fever! good luck, i know how you feel

yes i had one, i thought for sure i was having a girl, then about a month before i got my US done it totally changed directions, quess what im having? a boy! guess they changed for a reason.

yes i have lately but i think its because my bestfriend is preggo. and i know i cant be.. and i know in the long run i dont want kids for a while but i do day dream alll the time
