It might be round ligament pain.. It's supposed to happen around that time. It's your muscles stretching out.. I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and I sometimes get them too. Either way don't forget to mention it to your Dr. next time you see him/her. I f it gets too painful call him and see if he can see you sooner. I used to have pains in the side of which i was lying i think its the weight ,have you felt baby move prior or is it too soon i forget i think we start feeling babies 14 weeks + it differs so if you havent felt movement yet you will,if you dont feel right though have a word with the gp ,good luck hun x report abuse

I'm also 18 weeks and get all sorts of pains! I haven't felt my "Peanut" move yet either! I think it may be because I'm a first time mom and I just don't know what I'm "supposed" to feel. Good luck! report abuse
