Do you allow some of your childrens friends inside your home but not others

I'm not talking about teenagers. I totally understand that. But grammer school children?

Would you ever let some of your kids friends come inside while they're playing but tell another to wait outside because they're not invited in?
And if you do that, why? I dont understand.

Definately not! Think how those left outside must feel. They might have a rule of only so many friends over at a time though, in that case they should all have stayed outside.

That is not the right thing to do. If that is your child's friend's parent's house, then maybe you should just go ahead & ask them why. It just doesn't make any sense to me. And if there isn't a logical explanation,I just wouldn't let my kid visit, without me being there ,or otherwise not at all.

Maybe there are doing something that they shouldn't be doing inside& the parent's of the one they let in are friends of theirs. It's hard to say,but very strange to say the least.

My home rule is 1-2 friends at a time may play inside. If there are 3 or more - outside they go! I don't discriminate against the kids unless they have failed to follow house rules. They are made aware of the rules when they 1st come over. They get 3 'strikes' and then they are not allowed inside to play at all.

I only have a newborn baby (12 days old) but I agree with the second poster, only 1-2 kids other than your own allowed inside if there is more than that then they must stay outside, but supervise them. Allow them to come in to use the bathroom or get something to drink though, but not for play.
