Boys toilet training

Has anyone ever use the cherrio method to get little boys to stand up and pee in the toilet? My dad threw some in the bowl and it would be a game of who could sink the most. I thought is was very ingenious.

I used the cheerio method for my oldest he's 4 now. It worked he was potty trained by 3. The best method though is simply watching daddy. Good luck.

I trained my boys to sit on the toilet and pee or poop, but when my boys got to be 3 to 4 yrs old then I taught them to stand up and pee. My oldest son didn't stand up to pee until he was 12 years old but that was his choice.

I did that with my son, he wasn't into it, My mother lives in the country so, I used the water the tree method, which works well, besides explaining why you cant pee on certain trees, like the ones beside walmart.

My mom used confetti with my brothers. You can be pretty creative in what you use to make it exciting. Just make sure it's flushable!
