IMy little boy is 5 months ols and i exclusively breast feed him yet i am putting on weight. I do not eat loads and try to be careful what i eat, i dont get out walking much as i am not well but i do more exercise then before i was pregnant!
I am going through the exact same thing as you. I had my baby boy 4 months ago and I have not lost any weight since I have gotten home from the hospital. And I know for a fact that I am far more active right now than I was during my pregnancy.
This may sound stupid, but maybe you aren't eating enough. That is seriously what I think my problem is. I normally skip breakfast and only eat twice a day. I think we need to start eating smaller meals more often...not that we really have time, right??...it would up our metabolisms and maybe with some exercise the weight would start to come off.
I guess we are just those women who don't lose weight breasdtfeeding. I figure the only way to lose weight breastfeeding is nursing the baby while running on the treadmill!!!LOL!! Sounds painfull!!
Good luck. Don't worry about it(yeah right, I am completely obsessed with losing weight) Keep us posted.

its diff for a lot of people, it could be because you might be stressed from getting up all hrs of the night. it will takesome time, but youll start to lose the weight, oh and what helped my, i didnt eat after 6pm and i cut out carbs for a while only ate some here and there, and i drank a lot of milk, instead of just water. i dunnoif this helps. but good luck. and congrats on your little one.

I feel for you so much! I was the same, really looking forward to loosing all that weight, and I just lost a bit then stayed the same, no matter what I did.
THEN someone told me that you loose weight when you stop feeding too. Also rubbish! I think we just have to put up with it. Grrr.

If you are putting on weight for no apparent reason you need to see your doctor, you could have a thyroid problem or something.

I know how you feel!!! Everyone said if you breast feed the weight falls off. I'm breast feeding and I'm having to do weight watchers seriously as well. One and a half stone so far!!

I breast fed my 2 kids and never lost my weight. Sorry!
Even though your not eating much it could be what your eating. See your GP if it continues.
