Next question.. Target brand diapers

Ok so I just asked about LUVS and now I'm wondering about target brand. Anyone had any success with them? Do they leak? Hold a lot of pee?

LOL...you're so cute! Finding diapers is HARD work..we've basically done trial and error by buying a small package and seeing how they go. I have heard GREAT things about Target brand but have not used them myself.

I did try White Cloud from Wal-mart. They are a great price and I really liked them. We don't have a Wal-mart close so we used the Babies R Us brand which work fine, too.

Good luck smilies/smiley.gif

My son is 6 months old and is now in Size 3 Target Brand Diapers.

I get 104 diapers from Target for $10, compared to $20+ for the other 'name brand' diapers. Target offers the same AMOUNT of diapers with the same QUALITY for less than 1/2 the price. (With Huggies/Luvs/Pampers you pay double the price because of the Cartoon Characters on it. That's ridiculous, right?)

My son has NEVER had an allergic reaction. They contain the SAME absorbent particles (gel when wet) that all the other disposable diapers have. They also have the SAME resealable tapes and elasticated leg cuffs that all the other diapers have.

I have NEVER had a leak while using Target brand. I'm actually inclined to believe that moms who have leaky diapers have simply put the diaper on incorrectly, or leave them on entirely too long. I have used Luvs, Pampers, Huggies and Target Brand, and haven't had a leak w/ any of them...even with my son being extremely active. I swear it's all in the way you put the diaper on.

Anyway, I've rambled enough. Hpe this helped.

I've always used the generic brand. I use the Wal-Mart brand "Parents Choice" because Walm-Mart is closer, but I have also had lots of success with the Target brand as well. To me, they are just as good as the other pricier brands. They don't leak (if you use them appropriately) and they hold plenty of urine and feces, although I don't usually test their limits because I don't like my kids being wet or dirty for very long.

lol i just bought a box of Luvs diapers from target yesterday, and i glanced over at the non-brand/target brand, and i dont know if i would trust them. i have used walmart brand diapers and they were awful, very rough on my daughters skin causing her to break out, and they leaked like crazy. from then on i have stuck with Luvs i would rather pay a couple dollars more and know that it will save time down the road.

I don't know about Target diapers but I LOVE CVS diapers. The CVS Explorers are great. I don't have a CVS near me, so I order online in bulk with free shipping. I bought some Eckards diapers when they were going out of business because they were cheap. They held pee better for my son when Pampers and Huggies would have leaks out of the top of them.

For night time, I recommend using one size bigger than you usually use in the Huggies Overnight diapers. They allow me to sleep in much later than before!

update...I see other people mentioning Wal-marts band. They are good too but in my experience with my son peeing out of the top/sides of them, CVS Explorers (with Caillou on them) are far superior.

LUVS and the Target brand are the only diapers I will buy. I don't have any problems with either of them leaking. The only thing I don't like is Target (at least the stores by me) doesn't have the size 2 diapers available in the boxes. If I have to choose between them though I would choose LUVS.

Good luck on your decision....I know it's a hard one!!

I used the Target brand recently for my son and they were horrible(they would blow out and leak a lot). If you are looking to save some money get the Walmart's Parents Choice brand diapers. Parent Choice diapers are the same price as Targets but are 100% better quality.

I love Luvs and hate target brand. You have to make sure you get the exact size, and push babys legs apart cowboy style and wedge the sides in otherwise the diaper will leak. Half the time it still leaks anyways.

All of the generic brand diapers gave my kids a rash. But, that may not be common. They did hold leaks well though.
