Is anyone familiar with the Pharmeceutical drugs Adderall or Vyvanse

This past Thursday, I was written a prescription for Vyvanse. When I was a child {now 24}, I was diagnosed with ADD {NOT ADHD} and stopped taking it in 9th grade. I started back in college 2 years ago, but recently decided to seek medication help. I was wondering with you guys could possibly explain you're experiences and either drugs? Thanks!

My own daughter is taking Vyvanse. She's taken it for about 8 months now. She was on Adderall for one month before we tried the Vyvanse. The adderall tended to make her an emotional roller coaster. The Vyvanse is much better. It lasts longer and the only side effect she seems to have is that it lessens her appetite.

I believe both medications are made by the same company. Vyvanse is just the "updated" version of adderall.

If you go to this web site http://www.webmd.com/drugs/ it has reviews you can read about different medications.

Good luck!

I take vyvanse now,

I'm a teenager.

I perosonally like it alot better than what I used to take. straterra

With the other medication you had to eat something large without getting sick

so i switched ot vyvanse.

It held my focus a bit more and It helped me concentrate.

My daughter took both of those medicines and they caused a loss of appetite for her. She had better focus but the weight loss was unacceptable for us.
