Please, i don't want play sand, it sounds great, but i can't find it in my area. I think T-rex Natural colored sand looks nice, what brand should i get?
I wouldn't get any sand for bearded dragons because of impaction, not even the calci- sand because it could still happen. I suggest get reptile carpet. It is easy to clean and no chance of impaction.

there is no kind of calci sand i would ever put my beardie on. They cause awful awful impacations. Play sand is better but you don't HAVE to have sand. Get some aspen bedding or put down paper towels or newspaper. Just stay away from the cali sand or you're going to have some problems at some point

if you can NOT find play sand then other sands are NOT acceptable at all. You will have to use another substrate like repti-carpet or non adhesive tile.
Calsi-sand vita-sand all these "reptile" sands are simply not acceptable substrates for any reptile and can cause serious impaction no matter what the pet stores try to push on you.
