-Round peice of bark

-A coconut is neat

-Or a piece of painted PVC pipe is cool too

-Old vase for a rustic look to the tank

Petco sells alot of decor. I got this multicolored vase ($5) there, and its a perfect hiding place. African dwarf love them. Or you can buy some plants for them to hide behind.

Paint the outside of a pickle jar with waterproof paints. That way he can hide and you can paint it to look like a cave, a grotto, a coral reef, or like other fishes passing by.
