Can I dye my dog-E-Answer.Net

I got a really good looking dog in all but I think it would be so cool if I could dye him white. Here is a exact picture of what he looks like now http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...
I don't wanna hurt him because I fear that maybe the smell could be toxic to him? I hope someone can let me know if this is a good idea are not?

Katie Votes: +0	If I was wanting to do this, I would only let a groomer I trusted do it, but only then, I believe it is possible to put color on your dog. I don't think dogs can safely be lightened because that involves peroxide/bleach which would probably hurt their skin... not to mention dry it out and ruin their coat.
