1 i was living in japan on a military base and i guess i was in like the 5 or 6th grade then

3 i was sleeping in bed i got home from work around 4 that morning and was woke up by a call saying turn on the tv

the 9/11 I was in school, and my english teacher came into the room, sobbing. she turned on the tv, and right there, was the news of thousands dead, dieing, and injured. my friends dad went to help cos hes a firefighter, and he DIED when a wall caved in on him. The worst day ever....

I was blessed to be at home for all these events, where I was fortunate not to suffer like those for whom you speak about, but I was in a state of Empathy & Grief for those who experienced these events directly, as I watched intensely on the TV.

3. I had just started my career as a dentist, and watched it on the TV in an exam room with a patient
