If he is still a "Tom" (not neutered), then he will always wander, get in fights, and add to the overpopulation. If" he" is a she and not spayed, that will also add to the poor feral cat population. Either way, your cat is not being taken care of properly. If he/she does come home, please do the responsible things. Neuter/spay. Keep him/her inside. Or take him/her to the shelter if you can't do these things. Maybe the cat will be killed by a car. You might never know.
