Yes absolutely.

Are you looking to buy a residence or an investment in Ireland?

Or are you looking for a euro mortgage on a Northern property?

There is different criteria that applies if you are looking to buy a residence as opposed to an investment.

But unfortunately you won't be able to secure a euro mortgage against your property in the North.

The Irish Credit Bureau is the only credit bureau here in the Rebuplic and they have no links with the UK credit bureaus.

However if you are not ordinarily a resident in the Republic it is not uncommon for an Irish Lender to ask for a copy of your UK credit report before making a decision.... it really depends on the specifics of yoru application.

Been trying to find out for you buddy, but can't seem to get hold of anyone down south.

These guys seem to be a well known bunch of mortgage types, maybe they could help you more.
