I am a Canadian citizen and am 66 years old. Can I still apply and get a job in Canada

On my resume, I don't mention my date of birth. What will happen when I'm hired and my emplyoyer finds out my age. Will they let me go.

It is illegal to discriminate on the basis of age. You are right to exclude your age on your resume. If you get a job and perform well, your employer will be foolish to dimiss you because of your age. If he does, it will be his loss and you should see a lawyer. Many lawyers will give you half an hour or so of consultation free just to see if you have a case. An alternative is to take your case to the Human Rights Commission.

I am sure that if you will get a job with a good employer.
