What do I do on my first shift at Mcdonalds

I got back from my interview and a few hours later I got an email saying that I had been accepted as an employee.
I went on the site and did the quiz and filled out all the stuff about me. Then I waited for the call to tell me when my first shift was.

No one ever called me, but yesterday I checked my roster and the date was in it. The manager hasn't contacted me yet but am I supposed to go?

If so, what will I do on my first day? Do I go up to the counter and ask for the manager?

Show up when you are scheduled to work. The manager will give you direction on what they want you to do. Be a good worker jump in to help. Go the extra mile. This will definitely make your boss take notice of you. Be self motivated. Being a business owner the above is what gets my attention.

Did you get any instructions on uniforms and safety shoes? If not, drop in and see him so you have time to get your gear ready. don't be nervous, McDonalds employs lots of young people with no experience and you will probably be put on with an experienced person who will teach you. You are not expected to just walk in and start work unsupervised.

I worked there. Try not to get too professional about it. They are a little lazy themselves. Its a skilless and greasy job. U should go. The manager is really busy. You'll jump right into it w/ on the job training. Dont be nervous. You'll learn something every day.

Do you really want to work at McDonalds? Aim higher. Get a sales job. Radio Shack or become a bus boy at a restaurant . Sorry for the lame answer but there are better ways to make money.

Phone him up and ask him.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one.
