Quickrete Epoxy Concrete Sealer

I have a couple of gallons of the clear epoxy sealer made by quickrete. I was wondering if I could skip the step of applying the color epoxy and just put down the clear epoxy for a glossy natural concrete finish. I was thinking about just applying the etcher and just let it dry and lay down the clear.

It is on a brand new house that is about to close on so there is no need to get any oils up or anything. It is also in a double closed garage.

Will the clear epoxy set up right without the color basecoat?

You can just apply the sealer coat to seal the concrete. But you should apply the etcher first and let it dry. There is no reason you would have to use the color coat . The sealer wil work fine without the color.
