This condition of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is more common than you might imagine. Usually, it is normal, and likely doesn't indicate any health problem. Though most sweating is normal, and actually vital for cooling the body, sometimes it is a symptom of an underlying disease or condition.

Hyperthyroidism, an entirely different condition involving the thyroid can cause this excessive sweating, though many ailments and conditions can induce hyperhidrosis.

Get a complete physical examination and mention your concern to the doctor. Most likely, you have no 'real' problem.

I kinda know what you mean. I don't sweat all the time, though. I just sweat a lot when I'm excersizing and it's gross.

This sounds a little crazy, but I've read in a magazine that you can put deodorant on other parts of your body and it works the same way. I tried this on the back of my neck and it seemed to help. Still, be sure there's no white residue anywhere, or that'd be just as gross.

First off, deoderant doesn't do anything for sweating except to reduce the stench.

Try an anti-perspirant. They are made to reduce sweating 'slightly'.

I don't see how tank tops stop the sweating.

It could be something with your glands.

Talk to your doctor. There's a special deoderant you can wear. Or use Certain Dri over the counter.
