Does anyone know any quick remedies for a blister problem

I have a semi professional football (soccer) trial tomorrow afternoon and of all the injuries bothering me... it’s a blister problem. It’s been open for a day, I’ve put antiseptic cream (savlon) on it but it still hurts. I know it probably won’t be completely pain free by tomorrow but does anyone have any recommendations that will help me play through the game with the blister such as padding or plasters.

You need to get some padding for blisters. Don't place the padding directly on the blisters, but cut a circle out the middle and place the dough-nut shape ring around the blister. I wouldn't burst them on my own;however, have something there to clean them in case they burst during the game. You will have to play through the pain or you could take some Alieve or Tylenol.

If you go to the chemist or even some big supermarkets you get something called a blister plaster. It covers the whole blister with a plaster that has a jelly-like substance in it. This helps the healing and stops the rubbing !

My son also plays football and this has always helped smilies/smiley.gif
