Hypoglycemia I have too many symptoms... I need serious advice

Obviously I need to go to the doctor but I just want to make sure that these are the symptoms of hypoglycemia...
1) I have a horrible memory
2) I get really depressed often
3) I usually automatically say stuff when someone is speaking to me (like if they say "whats up" I say "nothing" but I usually have no memory of actually saying this.... or when my friend says "I'm going to my friend's house" I usually say something like "Ya same here" <-- even though I'm not)
4)I wake up at about 4:00 AM... then continue to keep waking up every hour (at 4:00 AM i have to pee, then every hour I have to keep peeing.. after I sleep)
5)I get really hungry REALLY fast.... especially after I pee or when I drink a lot of water
6)I feel like puking in the morning
7) I get nocturnal emissions every time I have to pee (At night ofcourse)

I need some serious advice.
I'm going to go see the doctor tomorrow... but I don't want to explain the nocturnal emissions in front of my mom. <--I'm 15

Tell your doctor everything that you just told us. He can answer any or all of your questions. There is no question that is so stupid, that it should not be asked, if it is on your mind. The stupid part comes, when you don't ask the question, and find out that your really should have. Your doctor can only truly help you if you tell him everything that is going on.

I would see a doctor for sure. Symptom #4 is a sign of diabetes.

I have hypoglycemia and those are not what I get. If I go to long without eating, I get clammy, shaky and feel like I am going to pass out.

make sure you see a doctor soon, okay?

You may be having a problem with your thyroid instead, something called hyperthyroidism. Go see your doctor.

I'm not a doctor, but as I understand it, hypoglycemia is most easily characterized by 'sugar highs and lows.'

Do you crave sugar and donuts at times during the day? Or do you crave caffeine? Do you have big drops in energy until you get to That Donut?

Of course, absolutely see your doctor. But hypoglycemia testing usually involves a Glucose Tolerance Test, which takes 3 or 4 hours to administer, so most doctors don't routinely prescribe them. Hypoglycemia doesn't show up on your routine blood and urine tests.

So ask yourself about your diet in the meantime. Do you eat a lot of snack foods? French fries? Sweets? If so, you need to go on a lower carbohydrate diet No Matter What. Stay away from the potato chips, cookies, sodas and caffeine--good advice no matter what.

I havent ever heard of 1-3 being signs of hypoglycemia but everyone is different! YOu should definitely seek medical help. My son and husband have hypoglycemia and I know that they are weak and lethargic in the mornings frequently, and also feel somewhat nauseous. They can be disoriented as far as can't keep eyes open, dizziness, etc. Hypoglycemia can be affected by what and how much you eat of certain foods so it can be controlled by diet for the most part, your doctor can give you a list of what foods are unlimited, what you can eat moderate portions of and what should be avoided!

My last suggestion is that you get a glucometer and regularly test you blood sugar( frequently throughout day), especially when you are having the symptoms you've mentioned!

Take care and Good luck!!!

from having medical training i know a little about hypoglycemia. the signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia are as follows: headache, mental confusion, memory loss, incoordination, slurred speech, irritability, dilated pupils, and seizures and comas is severe cases. but this is when you blood glucose is lower than normal. yes you may have some of these symptoms but that doesnt mean you are a diabetic. the only way to tell is to do blood work. the best thing i can say is tell the doctor everything so you can find out what is going on.
