I have a runny nose, sneezing spell, and sore throat. Allergies, or not-E-Answer.Net

Hi, I'm George. I'm 13.

I've been sick for about a few days now. I've taken Benadryl and antibiotics (unknown name). I still haven't gotten better and feel the same. I've got runny nose, sneezing spell, and a sore, itchy throat (with a white spot on my tonsils). I don't cough (though I do every once in a while), have a fever, itchy/watery eyes, etc. Just those symptoms I named before. I don't think I have step throat and I'm not sure if it is allergies. I'm a little bit suprised that these symptoms didn't trigger my asthma because they usually do. (Yes, I have asthma.)

What could be done without going to see a doctor? What could I take to feel better? Could someone help?

hsmommy0... Votes: +0	I just suggest letting it run it's course. Colds can take up to 7 days before you start feeling better though running a temp is not common with a cold, but rather a flu bug. You have probably caught a virus of somekind. If it gets worse or not better within a week or so go to the doctor. I doubt this is just allergies with all these symptoms and the fever. Antibiotics won't work on viral infections so you are wasting your time on that one. That is why it isn't working. report abuse vote down vote up

But,if you cant right away eat ice pops.and drink something hot.You have to make sure you eat healthy stuff.Dont eat chips and stuff everyday. Viju M Votes: +0	U shouldnt be taking "unknown name" antibiotics without doctors' prescriptions. Sounds like you are allergic to something - dust?, pollen? and might require antihistamines. Though you say no doctor.. would advise that you go to one and get a proper treatment. report abuse vote down vote up
