Which makes better bread, the 10 qt hobart or the electrolux assistant

I just started milling my own flour, and I would like to be able to make several loaves at a time. Right now I use my kitchen aid-325 watts, or my bread machine to knead the dough. However, I can only make 1-2 loaves with these machines. I think it would be a worthwhile expense to buy a bigger, stronger mixer, does anyone have any advice? Oh, I am also thinking about a Bosch universal.

The Hobart is definitely a good investment, but make sure you have a separate very sturdy stand for it. It will really tear up your counters, and shake everything off.

PS...You can usually find used ones from restaurant equipment stores

i am a baker by trade in my experience hobart mixers are un breakable the best type of mixer for bread is spiral but if a planatary mixers ie hobart etc are in your price range the best planatery is chain driven not belt driven the belt driven ones slip and that damages the gears and stuffes every thing my advice if you want to make 3 to 4 loaves at a time is hobart but shop around these days there are a lot of options the important thing to remember is chain not belt for dough

The 10 qt Hobart is the best, its pricey, but worth every penny. Plus they have a great service department. If you ever you have trouble (which I never have) they will come get it and fix it for you!! No having to drag it back to where you bought it or shipping it to their repair places
