I took AP History as a Junior last year, so I'm speaking from experience. Keep up on all the homework and assignments from the start of the class. If you slack off, you'll fall behind and it'll be more difficult to get back on track. Read the textbook and make sure you understand everything very clearly. Maybe even doing some research on some general topics during the summer may assist you. I also took the AP exam last year and it was tough, but I'm sure you'll be able to pass it if you pay attention to the details. There's not very many questions that focus on general topics, it's all in the details. Make sure you know important people and what they're known for. Also improve your writing skills. You'll be required to write 3 essays in about 2 hours and I'm sure you'll be writing some lengthy essays in your class. As for websites, I used course-notes.org but that went along with the textbook I was using. I don't know what textbook you'll be using, but I used American Pagaent. Be sure to prepare during the summer and good luck! report abuse
