Yes, but nothing too cheap. You need to go somewhere open and public, to put the girl at her ease. Watch the budget -somewhere young and trendy but not over the top. Offer to treat her too. Remember at 17 you are both very young and want to enjoy young innocent stuff. Other reasonable alternatives would be a walk in the park or a visit to a museum exhibiting something both 17 year olds are interested in
