What Would be a Good Amount to Charge When BabySitting

I don't want to charge too much or too little.

I think that you should let your employer (the person that you're babysitting for) decide. They may pay you more than what you're expecting. If they ask you what you think it should be, then I'd go with $4.00 an hour. I believe that's the normal rate.

You can't get a good answer here, because each neighborhood is different on this.

At first, tell the parents, "I'm fine with whatever you want to pay me." Almost all of them will be impressed, and will give you a fair rate. In a short period of time, you'll know who the cheapskates are!

Good luck to you!
