I am looking into purchasing 90 year old home w- pier and beam foundation.

I have not contacted the seller of said property , but what can I do to quickly educate myself on home building-since I know nothing about this area? This is a wood home and is in the country. Any and all responses greatly appreciated!!!!

Well Pier and Beam is common and if the home is 90 years old and you don't notice or see any issues as far as cracking or shifting your in good shape.. I would suggest along with a normal inspection you get a Structural engineer to take a look at the property if you think there might be issues "better to be safe than sorry." Also would suggest checking the plumbing and electrical on a home with old..
