Overdraft question

I wrote a check (Wachovia) for $750. My sister borrowed my debit card and took a little too much money out of my account. I now have about $550 in my account. If the check I wrote is cashed, will it bounce or will they cover the additional $200 and hit me with an overdraft fee?

Thanks for your help!

I use Wachovia. They will cover it and charge you $35.

.Depends on which account you have. I had an account with them that did but a friend of mine didn't. It sometimes has something to do with savings accounts and actual amounts of deposits made. They may put you on a restricted account that really sucks.

Usually it will bounce but it depends if you have overdraft protection if you don't they may take it anyway but if you have overdraft protection it will bounce

All depends on your bank, you need to call them right away and ask them this question, and hopefully get that money back int he bank before they cash the check.

Good luck.................

If you have overdraft protection (eg personal line of credit) then you will be fine. If not it will bounce AND they will charge $15-30.

Most likely it will bounce unless you put in the money to cover the rest
