Middle class twaddle, Sainsburys

Someone said that the good thing about Sainsbury's is that it keeps the riff-raff out of Waitrose.
So I agree about the Middle Class thing, but twaddle? If it were no good at all, it would have no Customers.

While obviously Sainsbury's customers tend to be a better class of people than those who frequent Lidl and Aldi, I fail to see the relevance of 'twaddle'. I have never noticed excessive chatting at JS when I am shopping.
