well i acne free worked best for me, but i stopped using it because it was to much of a hassle. what you eat does affect your skin, just keep a healthy diet and eat plenty of fruits and drink lots of water. and too prevent scaring, just don't pick or scratch. report abuse

PROACTIV! It is 100% worth the money! Just make sure you use a facial lotion every day or your face will dry out and cause more break outs! report abuse

I use some Dickinson's witch hazel with a few drops of tea tree oil as an astringent. Also, Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick works well for me. Just be sure to wash your face every night before you go to bed (I use Burt's Bees Complexion Soap...you may want to try the Garden Tomato Complexion soap to balance the Ph of your skin). Even though you may have acne, you still might need an oil-free moisturizer to maintain moisture balance in your skin. Sometimes over-cleaning your skin will make it dry out but acne can still pop up because your skin freaks out. Also, try not to pick or scratch your acne because it can spread that way. Avoid products with synthetic alcohol and synthetic salycid acid because they dry your skin. Try to use natural products if possible. There are so many products out there that claim to clear up skin, but really have harsh chemicals that make it worse! Always read the labels and research the ingredients; you will be horrified how bad commercial products really are for your skin. Changing what you eat also affects your skin and overall health. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables will not only make you feel better, but help make your skin healthier. Drinking lots of water is good for your overall health as well. report abuse
