How do you reduce the swelling of eyes

My eyes are very puffy from exposure to too much sun and chlorine. I am not going outside today because I can barely open up my eyes. I've already tried ice, it reduced the swelling a bit but did not completely.

What else can I do to reduce the puffyness?

Put a cool compress over your eyes. It helps reduce swelling. I hope your eyes feel better soon.

I use to get sinus infections frequently, and it has always made my eyes and nose swell. I usually put a hot towel on my face and the swelling stops fast. This will definitely help your eyes, I do it a lot when I wake up and have puffy eyes.

Slices of cucumber - they'll cool it and cucumber has soothing qualities. Eye drops will help if the actual eyeball is irritated.

you could try warming a face cloth by putting it in warm to hot water then placing it on your eyes and relax.
