okay so why do people say perms are bad. I think they are wonderful my hair was so nappy and i couldnt comb through it now its all soft and i finally got a curly perm and i went swimming in chlorine water and it didnt do nothing.

Tatianna Votes: +0	One word: CHEMICALS. That doesn't sound to nice to me. It's a step up from the hot comb and much easier but, there are chemicals involved in it. It's not a natural thing. And perms mess up the genetic code in your hair temporarily. But, if you take care of your hair it won't be too bad because I get perms too and I deffinately make sure I take care of my hair. report abuse vote down vote up
