I use the medium curling iron, because its not too big or too small, its the perfect size, it looks great, and my hair is shoulder length too, so if you have naturally curly hair than the small one would not work at all! 1 inch would be good, if you dont like 1 inch than 1 1/2 is more bigger! :]

It depends on what type of curl you want, do you want a loose curl go for the bigger size curling iron, if you want a tight curl use a smaller curling iron, hope that makes sense

it depends on what you want to do to it...if you want tight curls use a smaller curling iron, if you want loose curls use a bigger curling iron...it doenst matter how long your hair is, just the look you want.

It depends on how tight you want the curls... If you want tighter ringlet curls, use a smaller curling iron, if you want nice loose waves, soft curls, use a larger barrel. Hair length has nothing to do with it.

if you want tight,defined curls, i recomend a small curling iron. if you want big volumous curls, i recomend a bigger curling iron

It depends. If you want really loose curls like Demi Lavato's then you want to get a bigger curling iron. I small curling iron will give you little, tight curls. Almost like you got a perm.

it depends how thick your hair is but i would say a medium not the small tho
