Depends on what you need. If you go to high school you generally spend more money because kids are really conscious about what to wear and the current trends at that age. When I was in high school I spent about 300 in clothes that I hardly wear and I don't think I spent more than 120 bucks on clothes when I started college. I'd say 250 is enough if you budget wisely and really scan what you NEED. Like new jeans, fresh underwear, undergarments, sweaters and a cardigan. And get a really good winter jacket so you don't buy one every year report abuse

ha i dont pay my mom does but i buy until i have like 3 weeks of new clothes !!!!! so at least 100 but i go bargain stored like ROSS best store with name brand clothes just cheaper so i can buy more!! report abuse
