Is sensuality a learned or innate art

I'm not talking about necessarily lovemaking but the other aspects of sensuality.

Sensuality is innate within us as human beings. However, aspects of sensuality are learned in the sense that in our Western culture sensuality was developed from largely negative connotations or stereotypes. (e.g., to the gratification of the bodily appetites; free indulgence in carnal, lewdness, or sensual pleasures). Sensuality is, in essence, how connected you are to your own senses. Do you really notice smells, colors, sounds? A cook, an artist, a musician certainly develops senses appropriate to their art. How sensual you are plays a key role in both your overall ability to derive pleasure from life and your sex life. It also is of no small importance, to erasing the stereotypes, on how you expand your 'sensuality" to be aware of the needs of others.

Personally, I feel it is a bit of both..

To be more aware; to learn to be sensual, you first need to have to care for these types of things in the first place. And that's usually inborn..

It can be anything as simple as dancing, listening to music, or like you said, lovemaking or even just laying down with nature and drawing everything in..

Either ways, I think everyone has a little sensuality in them.. whether its learned or inborn.. :-)

Have a good day!
