The main thing I see as a difference is the neck in-lay and the tuners. The classic G-400 in Black or Red has the mother of pearl in-lay on the neck and head,chrome tuners,and a lighter finish on the neck whereas the Goth G-400 has but one in-lay at the 12th fret, a dark finish on the neck a small goth design on the head and black tuners. I would say that the Goth doesn't sell as well as the classic as well. So if you like the goth get it and save 30 pounds but the sound quality and playability should be comparable.
