start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

become the bets actress you can and try to be diverse maybe try to learn to sing! i cant so it dont matter but maybe learn how to play guitar? piano? dance? tumble? ice skate?

dont all go for it try the one that seems more fun and go for it and ocne you have it down perfectly go for somehting else!

and dont worry abot acne i have it too! try to find some acne stuff to make it go away neutrogena helped me! but every1 has diffrent skin.and dont worry feel confident and if you want this learn to neevr care what people say about you! not even your parents and if you cant have your dream now just take classes at school and do plays and get a job and save up money so when you finish school you can go to l.a get a job and apartment and get an agent etc. you dont have to live in l.a to get an agent etc. i mean look at demi lovato and selena gomez and jonas brothers. but it helps cause 65 % of auditions are there.

those people who tell you to follow your dreams are jsut being nice you will never be an actress if your acne ridden and some people saying your pretty is not enough have3 you seen most actresses they are gorgeous not pretty and 15 year olds dont make it bc when someone plays a 15 year old they are always like 25 but by all means enjoy the fantasy

Of course you could. Anyone could be an actor/actress, but that doesn't mean they're going to be good. Go to college and study it. Having some formal training is always good, unless you're prepare to study it, in depth, on your own.

Go for it.

If you want something really bad, fight for it.

take drama in high school and audition for plays, commercials and movie roles if you live in L.A.

If you have a passion for acting and can see yourself being very successful in the business then go ahead and start.

Try out for school plays or community plays. Start a foundation of acting and if you are still enjoying yourself then start taking some acting classes.

You can get an agent if you want to. So then you can start auditioning for extras in movies and shows.

Just follow your heart and if you really think that acting is for you then don't let anyone or anything make you think otherwise.

As long as you have the dream and are able to put forth the effort and stress.

Nothing can hold you back.

And just because you get some acne doesn't mean that you don't have a chance.

People who find their way in life often go about as though IT IS UNDERSTOOD by everyone in the Universe that they are born to be successful. Once they put aside doubt, the thing desired is much more likely to come to them.

Didn't I read that Dakota Fanning actually moved to the Hollywood area because that was the first step in striving for her dream? Of course, her parents believed in the dream too. The point here is, you have to believe it is WHAT GOD INTENDED FOR YOU. Once you believe that, you just sorta naturally do everything to make the dream happen.

P.S. Remember Elvis? He just assumed he was meant to be a singer -- though most advisors said he did not have the voice for it. Oh, by the way, his skin was terrible when he was a teen. The Hollywood magic artists knew what to do to cure that issue.

Truth is, when you get older, you may realize you don't want to act at all.



Do you want to be an actor, or do you want the fame? Do you think that because you are "pretty" makes a difference?



You're 15 years old. You will slowly realize how cruel the world is, and that achieving your "dream" is basically impossible.



Don't look through magazines, and television shows, looking at actors smiling, with their mansions and $500 million in the bank, and actually decide that your goal in your life is to be like them. Because you may be very dissapointed.



If you have a passion to act, then act. Just don't expect to be a celebrity.

Hey I like to play music and I used to be really shy in high school, but as I've learned it gets easier the more times you do it. About the acne, in reality you're probably making it a bigger deal than anyone else would, my right ear is messed up and I've had friends that didn't notice that for months after we met. Its all about how you carry yourself. Acne is not a big deal, I've never really had it, and I don't really care about it when I look at girls. I know one thing though, if you don't do it now, you will regret after you graduate. If you really need a ride, ask someone else who is going to the auditions or figure something out, don't let things like these slip away.

of course you can become an actor.

Pay no mind to the people who discourage you acheiving your dream. They are right in a way, i mean there's always alot of negativity in becoming an actor but i think that not one actor or singer can ever say they didnt have people who doubted them or if they didnt know if they were good enough.



I remember Reese Witherspoon saying on a talk show that she would go after so many plays, movies and most of them turned her down and one play sayed she was too ugly to play the part.

But she was driven ; thats the difference. Dont let things get in the way of doing what you want to do.

If this is really what you want, go for it! Lately I've been having the same problem. I've been thinking about ballet lessons. But there are things like: What if I don't enjoy it? What if I can't do it right and I mess up? What if all the girls there are divas? lol. =) Anyway, you can't let that stuff get in the way of your dreams. Do you have any friends you are interested in this? Maybe you can carpool. But if not, I'm sure you'll figure something out. Listen, acting is a tough path to follow. There will be lots of people chasing the same thing as you, and they will do almost anything to get to their goal. Acting is a VERY competitive art. A few years ago, I was really into acting. But I realized I wasn't quite ready to handle all the divas and competition. Anyway, don't let them get to you. Chances are, if they're bugging you, they're jealous. Go for your dreams, and don't give up! By the way, if other actors are mean to you, don't plan revenge or snap back. Treat them with respect, even if they don't treat you that way. Trust me.
