Have you done any work that you could put on a resume? If so, or if not... you should start small and do some community theatre. That would be a great forum for you to find out about other auditions, network, and meet the right people that can get you future jobs.



Also, people rarely think of it... BUT you could also hone your skills in student films. Go to any college or university near you and find their film/theatre department. There will be TONS of listings and postings of student directors looking for people in their upcoming projects. That's another GREAT places to start.

I'd like to be an actress too but I try not to mix the stage with reality. I've done some plays aren't big(church, school) but everyone has typecasted me as the goody-goody. Don't limit your life to acting because you may discover something better. Sadly, I live in Singapore where some actresses and actors moonlight as teachers because of their low salaries and Singaporean actresses don't make it that big. You guys are so lucky.

Im in the exact same boat but im nearly 14 and i cant find auditions any where! lmao
