How do you write songs

A lot of things go into writing a song, but most of the time, it just flows, you don't even think about it. I think you have to find your style, and your niche for inspiration. A lot of songwriters write when they are stimulated, having a bad day, whatever inspires you. You have to not be afraid and just go along for the ride. With time, you are going to get better, and find your style, which is fundamental. The only thing I can tell you if you want to write songs, is to write, and don't think about time, don't put pressure on your shoulders. Best of luck.

Well, I am a song writer myself. Sometimes it's most simply done when you start with a chorus and a moral. Usually the creativity should just flow around that and what style of song you are trying to achieve. Whether its a lesson or your trying to make a statement, it all needs to flow in harmony. Hope I helped.

I am learning how to write songs for flute, clarinet, or piano (not much for piano), and all I can say is I find it difficult but sometimes I find it easy. But when I write songs I usually have started writing one in my head. Then when the creative juice starts to flow, I can get pretty far.

i write songs based on what i'm feeling. once you have the basic idea down, you have to arrange things and repeat certain parts to make it melodic.

i write them about how i'm feeling or about my life. The ideas just kinda come to me. If you have a bf/gf write about him or her
