No. Americans today seem to forget things to quickly

Declaration.

Henry Knox.

Noble Patriots.

Slavery.

The Second Amendment: Thumbs Up.

Statue of Liberty.

Hiroshima: Right Decision. It was a terrible thing, but it was war and saved untold numbers of American lives.

Henry Ford. Cars are tied more to the American lifestyle more than any other gadget, even the computer.

Washington. Many people wanted to make him king, he had the character not to allow this, and he had the vision to stay out of European affairs, which we soon forgot and became involved with just a few years after he had left office.

Both 9/11 and Pearl Harbor were quite impactful when they occurred.

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution had strong language which indicated that no one document was more intense than the other.

Henry Knox had the most influence.

Both Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson had visions that were profound.

Some patriots were noble patriots and some, on the other hand, were misguided thugs.

Slavery is the worst chapter in American History. No mortal man or any entity has the right to enslave human beings.

The Second Amendment: The right to bear arms

is an American right, but to defend NOT molest others.

Statue of Liberty

Hiroshima: It was a wrong move, especially when I found out that Pearl Harbor was a set-up by the United States.

Thomas Edison: He put a light on things. Henry Ford brought America progress because we were able to have transportation to and fro. Both offered significant progress, at a time when America really needed it.

Greatest President Ever: William Jefferson Clinton

9/11 was a direct attack against innocent people, Pearl Harbour focused on a military target. 9/11 will go down in history as the most cowardly gutless crime in history.

Being an Aussie, not sure, but independence is important, you fought the English pigdogs and won, we're still a monarchy.

You got me there, mate.

Only heard of Thomas Jefferson, he wins.

Go liberty, against the English again, wasn't it?

Slavery was bad, but the civil war shouldn't have happened.

Don't know it

The statue was built by the French as a gift, Mt Rushmore sounds better.

Right, it stopped the war, maybe they should have left off Nagasaki.

Thomas Edison, we could have done without the car.

Washington, the man who led you to independence.

ps, this is an Australians view, we're pretty much uneducated about the good ol' US of A.

-Yes, as a watershed event.

-The Declaration, especially after watching the HBO John Adams series.

-Knox is my hero. What a man of principle!

-Jefferson; a complex man and I don't agree with all of his views, but he gets my vote because of the breathtaking language in his Declaration of Independence and desire for a bill of rights.

-Noble patriots for the most part but some actions, such as tarring and feathering, went too far.

-Slavery, a despicable institution.

-Thumbs down. No to guns.

-The Statue of Liberty is still a potent symbol of American ideals.

-Wrong move, then and now.

-Thomas Edison. 1093 patents. Awesome.
