Tips for a breakdancer

i am an experienced dancer of ten years, specializing in jazz, tap, ballet, and some hip-hop. i need to learn how to break dance. its more of a desire then a need but still:).

our big performance is next may so i have plenty of time to learn some.

if you could please refer me to books, websites, or give me tips from personal experience on what exercises i could do to build the arm muscles or even basic moves to start with it would be greatly appriciated!

thanks!

oh and to all the breakdancers out there, i admire the crazy **** you pull off!

Just remember stuff like windmills, flares, turtles and ect are a lot of technique work as in stuff like weight shifting and other than that all I can tell you is JUST DO IT when you practice. It's going to take some time so be patient.
