Unfortunately I think that some people have got it hammered into their heads that Harry Potter is pure evil, and they get all worked up about it until they feel that they just need to do something about it (such as go on Y!A and delete HP fans' q's, or post bulletins about it, etc.).



Personally, I love the HP books, and I believe that most people who won't let their children read the books, first of all, haven't read the books themselves. Secondly, I think that if someone thinks their child will turn against God because of HP, then obviously they don't think their child's faith is very strong. Some people just try to find fault or evil in everything, and that's the sad truth.

I have many friends that hate Harry. But i love Harry Potter. I realized that none of them had ever even read the books, but they've watched the movies. They are either judging the series based on the movies or they just want to make themselves look different from the rest of the world by saying they hate Harry. They have no reason to, they just do it for publicity. But yeah, i also agree with the first answer.

I admit I was a harry potter hater at one point, then I read the 5th book and I became a fan... when I disliked the series I had friends who liked it, and I never really cared.

My point is (to Haters) is that everyone has different interests, just because you dont like the series it doesnt mean you hav 2 be mean about it. I dont see why it matters so much and really! If they delete Qs then it just shows how immature they are!

Its because they are annoyed with all the people who love Harry Potter. I love it too and i get hated on at school for it. But I dont care. They can go suck an apple for all I care. I say ignore them. Very descriptive question by the way. (i didnt know questions could be deleted)

How the heck do you think I felt? At 1:00 in the morning I bought the final book, The Deathly Hallows along with 60 other people and a bunch of juniors from my high school skipped to the back and screamed the ending to everyone.

Its because they havr no imagination and are jealous that we can love harry potter so much without feeling liek idiots.

Well, it doesn't really matter I guess but its really sad to see someone so obsessed with a book. THey have no life beside the book. Its really creepy(and sad)

In fact,it's some HP haters who are the losers here...Anyone who has enough time to stalk people who mentioned they like the Harry Potter books and constantly report them for no obvious reason has no life.

And for all those people who think about HP fans as a bunch of teeny bloopers,I have an announcement: the series is read and liked not just by teenagers but by adults as well.

For God's sake,what is wrong about a group of people sharing opinions on a popular book?Huh?

This sounds more like the Religious people, who believe anything talking about, Witchcraft and wizardry, is in league with the devil................. Some tried to get Harry Potter banned, These are the same people who had problems with the Golden Compass, and Banned the tale of Little Red Riding Hood because she was taking Alcohol to granny in her basket. These are the people who have burnt books down the centuries because they challenge their beliefs.



There is a book all that contains , Murder, incest, rape, , genocide. a host of other horrors and even magics of sorts, they are quite happy for their kids to read -- Its called the Bible.



If you think you are being targeted- appeal every time.

Reporting a question for no reason is against Yahoo rules

And could get them suspended or deleted for targeting someone.

So appeal every removed question if you think you are right.

Just remember to word questions carefully to avoid chatting..

I really don't like the books much, that's just not my personal preference, but alot of it has to do with religious preferences.



My church forbid the kids to read them (not like that helped because I read all of them anyways) I see it as if you don't believe it, it's not a sin.



But not all people are like that, things like this happen on all categories on Y!A because people don't agree on opinions.
